But before that, the 53-year-old has a clear goal for how he wants to end his time in Frölunda.
– Now I only work for one thing in sight and that is to help this team to win SM gold. Capture every day, that’s my motto, says Roger in an interview with Radiosporten.
Roger reveals
Rönnberg now also reveals why he made the decision to leave Frölunda after 12 great years at the club.
– It was a long process and a joint decision with the sporting director (Fredrik) Sjöström, where I wasn’t really sure if I was the man to bring Frölunda into the future. I had doubts about my own ability about how I could continue to develop Frölunda as an association and develop the game above all, he says to the radio channel.

Over the years, Roger Rönnberg has become known for his emotional plays on the side of the ice. Both when things are going well and when things are not going well, the Frölunda trainer shows his full range of emotions in the booth.
– Showing emotions has always been my challenge. I’m pretty easy to read and therefore have never been good at playing poker. I always show what I feel and that is both good and bad, he says in the interview.
