Which electric car has the longest range per kroner

The car with the longest range on the Swedish market is the Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+, which goes around 80 miles on a single charge, but has a basic price of around SEK 1.2 million.

However, there are cars that cost significantly less in relation to their range. Elbilstidningen Allt om elbil has compiled how much different electric cars cost per kilometer of range.

10. Hyundai Kona Electric 64 kWh

In tenth place among the most affordable electric cars in terms of range, we find the Hyundai Kona Electric with its large 64 kWh battery. The car costs SEK 459,900, and has a range of 484 kilometers. This gives a price per kilometer range of SEK 950.

9. MG ZS EV Long Range

In ninth place, the MG ZS qualifies into the long-range version. Despite the British name, the car comes from China, and costs SEK 412,990 with a range of SEK 440. This gives a price of SEK 939 per kilometer of range.

8. Citroën ë-C3

The cheapest wagon on the list is the new Citroën ë-C3 with a price of SEK 299,900. The range is 320 kilometers, and the price per kilometer of range is SEK 937.

7. Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor

In seventh place we find the Swedish-Chinese Polestar 2 in the version with the large battery and two-wheel drive, which has a range of 654 kilometers and costs SEK 609,000. The price per kilometer range is SEK 931.

6. MG 4 Extended Range

The MG 4 is a hatchback in the golf class, which in the Extended version has a range of 520 kilometers at a price of SEK 479,990. This gives a price per kilometer range of SEK 923.

5. Toyota bZ4X 2WD

The oddly named Toyota SUV bZ3X hasn’t proved to be a sales success, but in terms of value for money, the two-wheel drive variant performs well. The range is 512 kilometers and the price is SEK 469,900. This gives a price per kilometer range of SEK 918.

4. Tesla Model 3 RWD 18”

The fourth most affordable electric car in terms of range is the Tesla Model 3 in rear-wheel drive version with the small battery, shod with 18-inch wheels. The car costs SEK 498,170 and has a range of 554 kilometers, which gives a price per kilometer of range of SEK 896.

3. Tesla Model 3 LR 18”

Also in third place we find a Tesla Model 3 that rolls on 18-inch wheels. This time it is about the version with the large battery and four-wheel drive, which costs SEK 586,170 and has a range of 678 kilometers. This gives a price per kilometer range of SEK 865.

2. Kia EV3 Long Range

The Kia EV3 is a new addition to the Korean brand’s portfolio, and in the Long Range version it costs from SEK 498,300 and has a range of 600 kilometers. This gives a price of SEK 831 per kilometer range.

1. Tesla Model 3 RWD LR

The version of the Tesla Model 3 that has the longest range is the one with the large battery and rear-wheel drive. With a price tag of SEK 539,900 and a range of 702 kilometers, the car has a price of just SEK 769 per kilometer of range.
