The development of technology has gone at breakneck speed. It wasn’t that long ago that mobile phones consisted of buttons and small screens. Today, however, it is different and the phones are both bigger and smarter.
In line with the progress of technology, the networks have also developed. For example, it is not far before the old mobile networks are turned off for good.
At the end of 2025, the work to phase out the 2G and 3G networks will begin. The reason is the great demand for data communication, which will require that the new networks, 4G and 5G, need more frequency space.
There are, however, certain risks that the switching off of the old mobile networks can entail, in addition to older mobile phones ceasing to work.
News24 has previously written about the risk of food shortages that the shutdown could result in. Many tractors, combine harvesters and irrigation systems are today controlled by the old networks, which in the worst case can lead to the food supply being negatively affected.

The major operators: Telia, Telenor, Tele2 and 3 are all owners of mobile networks. But what does customer satisfaction really look like among these companies? Which is actually Sweden’s best mobile operator? And which is the worst?
When the customers get to decide for themselves, it turns out that the one they like the most is a less upstart. And the worst is a major player in the Swedish mobile market.
According to figures from the Swedish Quality Index, it is established how Swedish customers rate the Swedish operators, where the industry as a whole has a customer satisfaction rate of 68.7 percent, the site writes Mobile.

Among operators such as Telia, Telenor, Tele2 and 3, one might easily think that one of them should be the most popular among customers. But the fact is that the survey shows that the operator customers appreciate the most is Vimla.
SKI’s measurement is done on a scale between 0 and 100. The customers who consider Vimla to be the best option and give the operator the number 81.0 out of 100. Next comes another smaller player: Fello, which receives the number 80.7, followed by Halebop which customers give a satisfaction of 74.8 out of 100.

When it comes to the operators customers are less satisfied with, several of the major players can be found.
“What is exciting in this year’s study is that the path to high customer satisfaction varies between operators,” he says Johan ParmlerCEO of the Swedish Quality Index, in a press release.
The four big operators: Telia, Telenor, Tele2 and 3 all end up at the bottom of the measurement.
According to the Swedish Quality Index, the proportion of complaints about the operators has decreased and that the ratings given after contact are generally approved, even if there is potential for improvement.
“We see that the mobile customers who have used an AI service certainly think it is user-friendly, but that it does not solve their problems,” says Johan Parmler in the press release.
