The relationship between Joe Biden’s government and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been noticeably strained since the war in Gaza broke out last year.
When presidential candidate Kamala Harris, in an interview with CBS 60 minutes, is asked if she sees Netanyahu as a close ally, she avoids answering.
– With all due respect, I would like to say that it is more reasonable to ask whether we have an important alliance with the Israeli population, and there the answer is yes.
