North Korean leader Kim Jong-un sent birthday wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he called his “closest comrade.”
The leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un says the country is speeding up its rise to a military superpower with the help of nuclear weapons, reports the country’s state news agency KCNA.
Kim told about it on Monday in his speech at the university.
According to him, the country has no intention of attacking South Korea, but if the enemy tries to use force, the North Korean army will use all means, including nuclear weapons.
Kim also sent birthday greetings to the Russian president to Vladimir Putinwhom he called his “closest companion”. According to Kim, the cooperation and strategic relations between the countries will be strengthened to a new level so that the countries can “defend regional and global peace and international law”.
Relations between the two countries have warmed and tightened during the war in Ukraine. Last June, Putin visited North Korea for the first time in 24 years.
