In 2021, the shooter Returnal was released as one of the first exclusive titles for PS5 and thrilled players. Now it is available for the first time as part of PS+ Extra for a subscription instead of the full price of €80.
What kind of game is this? Returnal is a third-person shooter with roguelike elements. The developer behind it is Housemarque and Climax Studios. The publisher is Sony Interactive Entertainment or PlayStation Publishing. The game was released on April 30, 2021 as one of the first exclusive titles for the PS5. On February 15, 2023, Sony brought the game to the PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store.
In the game you take on the role of Selene, who is stranded on an alien planet. Of course, Selene wants to escape the predicament, but that’s exactly the point: there is no escape and she will fail again and again. But with every failed escape attempt, the planet and your equipment change. So no run is like the last.
