The developer of Terraria, one of the best-rated games on Steam, plays the MMORPG RuneScape and never takes a break. Even at concerts he has to fish to get all the XP.
The fact that you like to spend a little more time in MMORPGs and put other activities aside – for free. This is probably how most fans of online role-playing games feel.
But after many years, the developer of Terraria has now returned to the online role-playing game “Old School RuneScape” and apparently plays it so excessively that he even fishes in the game at concerts.
Old School RuneScape has also been on Steam for a while now:
Who is it about? We’re talking about Andrew Spinks, the creator of the Steam hit Terraria. Most people probably know him as “Redigit”, which is also the name he uses on the X platform.
What did he do? A few weeks ago, Redigit announced that he would be working on the MMORPG “Old School RuneScape” in more detail in the future – and he then put that into practice. In fact, he seems so addicted to the game that he spends almost every free minute on it, or at least makes it seem that way.
Among other things, he shows pictures from a Slipknot concert and praises the band for a good performance – while you can see that Redigit is holding a smartphone in his hand. Not to film the band performing, but to go fishing in RuneScape.
But Redigit is a pretty laid-back guy anyway, who even hires Terraria modders to pay them.
What does he want to do with this? The RuneScape account on
A small allusion to the fact that an Easter egg with a Terraria connection should be installed in RuneScape.
Redigit later explains that RuneScape also shaped his other gaming experiences. He supposedly named his auction house character in World of Warcraft “Itams Plex” (a play on “Items pls”) because begging was so efficient in RuneScape. This means he has “half of the level 60 mounts” in WoW [seiner] “Guild funded because he was such a good scammer.”
Both sides probably don’t mean it that seriously – but who knows. RuneScape has referenced several other games in the past and is generally relatively open about such little jokes.
RuneScape recently took action against PvP duels – they were gambling in disguise.
