In the new season there are also two new experts, Lemarc Thomas who is professional matchmaker and Delphine Cartier who is a sex counselor.

In an interview with News24 tells Cartier about what it was like to go through the applications for the program.

    – It was very time-consuming to go through all the applications but also a lot of fun. People trust the program and it shows that “Married at First Sight” has done a good job when people believe and hope in the experts, says Cartier to Nyheter24, and continues:

    – It is very nice that people dare to be vulnerable.

In “Married at first sight: In winter clothing”, the couple gets married during the winter and then has to try to share life together. Expert Cartier believes the weather will affect the season.

    – Sweden in the summer is somewhat more beautiful. In the winter, you don’t have as much energy, you’re a bit tough and you don’t look very energetic either. It may be easier to feel extra open and extra fresh in the summer. In the winter, you have to deal with the slush, and I think the whole thing can be more realistic, she tells Nyheter24, and continues:

    – It may not be as dreamy, but it will be closer to reality.

As in all seasons, the participants are new. Cartier says that this year’s participants differ from previous seasons.

    – The participants are different from season to season, but what is exciting about this season is that everyone is very different from previous seasons. This year, I think more viewers will recognize themselves, for once not all participants are from Stockholm and not all are only in their 30s, she says and continues:

    – It is far from everyone in Sweden who is represented in this year’s season, but the season includes more groups in any case.

Is there a particular couple this season that you’re rooting for a little extra?

    – I mainly cheer for the individuals, says Delphine Cartier to Nyheter24.
