Player is kicked out of the guild because he had to go to work on day 2

Throne and Liberty is a paradise for MinMaxers and competitive natures. A sad example from the early start phase shows how this will continue to affect normal players.

What happened to the player? A buyer of the early access version of Throne and Liberty reports in a Steam review (via Reddit) that he was kicked out of his guild because he couldn’t play on the second day of early access and had to go to work.

An isolated case? EmzysErock writes under the post (via Reddit): “I was kicked out too. I experienced a hurricane and then a chlorine plant near me burned and we had to leave town.”

Elsewhere you can also see that Throne and Liberty attracts many competitive types who want to get the most out of the MMORPG. Individual players expressed their displeasure as early as the second day of early start because someone in the dungeon group didn’t know the boss mechanics, or they left the instance directly.

The requirements of some guilds could hardly be higher; a minimum of six or seven hours of online time is sometimes reported (via Reddit).

Paradise for MinMaxers

How does Throne and Liberty encourage this behavior? While the updates to the Korean version have made Throne and Liberty more attractive to casual players and solo players, the focus is still on guild activities and PvP – although some content will only be available to the most ambitious and active guilds.

In addition, the guild sizes are very limited. For now, 70 noses fit into such a community. When they have been found, but other exciting new arrivals are knocking on the door, some guilds start sorting out; Anyone who doesn’t follow suit or doesn’t invest enough will be thrown out.

Some comments under the post also show that not every player is keen on MinMaxing. Sinister_Saiyans writes on Reddit: “You have to join our guild. Filthy Casuals. A group of people aged 30+, most married with children.”

On my server Geist there is also a colorful mix of ambitious streamer guilds and communities that want to take things a lot easier. So make sure that you look for teammates who suit you.
