A property burned down in central Edsbyn in Ovanåker municipality last night. The rescue service moved out with several units, but the building could not be saved.
The fire is believed to have started in a car parked at the house and then spread to the building, reports Ljusnan.
– There was total damage to the property that burned. There were residential buildings on the upper floor and shops on the lower floor, says Robert Lassar, alarm and command officer.
One person was evacuated but is said to be unharmed.
Police are currently investigating it as aggravated arson and damage by fire.
