Three dead in car accident – severe head-on collision
The accident happened just before 10pm on Saturday evening on national highway 66 between Ludvika and Smedjebacken. A man in his 20s was traveling in one car and two women in their 35s in the other car. All died.
— It seems as if two cars have collided head-on and it has happened during an overtaking. One of the cars has been on the wrong side of the road, says Ollie Lundduty officer at police region Bergslagen.

Heavy fire in residential building – has burned to the ground
A heavy fire broke out in an apartment building on the night of Sunday in central Edsbyn in Ovanåker municipality.
“It’s an extensive fire, but we aim to save half the building,” said Håkan Erikssonalarm and command officer at the Rescue Service during the night to Sunday.
During Sunday morning, the apartment building burned to the ground.

Bombing attack on residence – second second attack in three days
An explosion occurred on Saturday evening at an apartment building in Hjulsta in northwest Stockholm.
— Yes, that’s right, it’s the same address as the explosion last Thursday and we’re looking at whether it’s aimed at the same people, says Mats Erikssonpress spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
During the night of Thursday, a hand grenade exploded at the vulnerable address. Two men were arrested after the incident but no one was injured in the attack.
