The popular radio profile Roger Nordin Elgh47, and the husband Jonas Nordin Elgh37, has a very nice love story, but the road to the altar was anything but straight.
The couple met for the first time back in 2014 and got engaged three years later, in 2017.
But after that, their relationship ended – and in the years that followed, their only contact consisted of handing over the dog Count of which they have joint custody.
– Sometimes you discover that you are in different places in life. Then that’s it. It has been a very difficult month, said Roger Nordin shortly after the break-up in Rix morronzoo, where he himself is the presenter.
He made it clear that there was no conflict:
– Nothing has happened, we do not hate each other, we are not at odds. We are friends.

In the spring of 2019, Roger met met love again in Anton Lindbäck. They had known each other for almost ten years when love arose.
– We have always had a good eye for each other and we met for the first time at Pride 2010, he has said in an interview with Happened.
The radio profile described it as “lovely to be newly in love”.
– We say it was our turn now.

But the love that Nordin thought would last forever came to an end.
In July 2020, he confirmed that the relationship between him and Anton was over.

Barely a year later, in June 2021, it was clear that Roger Nordin had been hit by Cupid’s arrows again – he and ex-boyfriend Jonas Elgh had found their way back to each other.
– Our dog surrenders have become longer and longer and the feeling that it’s us again has grown for a while, but it feels very good and special housing is not so stupid, Roger Nordin has told The evening paper.
Having been in different places in life before, it was clear that they shared the same view on a lot, and decided to give love a second chance.

The love between Roger Nordin and Jonas Elgh grew stronger and stronger. In April 2022, they got engaged – again.
“On the anniversary of the last engagement (April 15), my partner Jonas took out the rings again, and asked if we wouldn’t take and continue our journey together with rings on our fingers,” Nordin wrote in a comment to The evening paper.
In early July 2024, the wedding bells rang for the couple, who chose to add each other’s surnames to their own.
Guests at the wedding included the radio colleague Laila Bagge, Lars-Åke “Babsan” Wilhelmsson and Gert Fylking.

Roger Nordin has bought a house in Värmdö
In April 2024, Roger and his husband made a big decision: to move from the big city to the somewhat quieter Värmdö.
“After 28 years as a city guy, a new chapter begins… The moving load has landed in the house on Värmdö, in the calm. It feels absolutely fantastic to meet spring here. This morning a moose stood outside the house and stared at me,” he writes in a post on Instagram – sitting in a hot tub with a glass of bubbly.

And the new house really doesn’t come off for hoes.
The villa is 198 square meters in size, has nine rooms and a plot size of just over 1,000 square meters. Roger and Jonas had to pay SEK 9,750,000 for the house, and since the purchase last spring, they have posted several pictures that reveal the lavish interior.
“Welcome to my home. We probably won’t get any closer to a Home report than this… How do I feel in the new house? Everything is going smoothly. I don’t miss the city for a second. Financially, there is no need for Roger Nordin, figures from show Tax Agency as News24 took part in. In 2023, he had a fixed earned income of SEK 1,284,900, which gives a luxurious monthly salary of SEK 107,075.
He is active in a limited company called Milkshake Media AB, which according to figures from All Companies judging seems to close its accounts in August each year.
In 2023, the company had a net turnover of SEK 3,890,000 – and in 2024 the same amount was SEK 4,330,000.
