Several people alerted the police at 2:30 p.m. about an ongoing fight in a park near Örebro Castle.
– A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital with some form of stab wound. He was sedated there, so I don’t have a good picture of the damage, says duty officer Ola Olsson.
The police have set up large cordons in the area and are searching for the suspected perpetrator with the help of dog patrol.
– We have not managed to arrest anyone, but we hope to do so eventually.
Several brought in for questioning
According to the police, there should be no danger to the public.
– We see it as an isolated incident and there is nothing that risks spilling over into a conflict, says Ola Olsson.
The police have picked up several people for questioning and are documenting the crime scene.
