The rider was injured in a 2 pm collision with a pickup near Vidal Street and Huron Boulevard, Sarnia police said in a release.
The pickup driver was injured, police said.
The intersection was closed to traffic while officers investigated, police said, but has since reopened.
Police said no other information was available.
Arson probe on Cardiff Drive
Sarnia police are asking for tips after a person was seen throwing a fire-starting device that looked like a Molotov cocktail under a vehicle.
A person was seen approaching a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Cardiff Drive, the section running east from Murphy Road, Thursday around 3 am, police said. The vehicle immediately erupted in flames.

Drive Smart campaign results
Lambton OPP officers stopped 173 vehicles and laid several charges during a recent weekend-long Drive Smart, Keep it Safe campaign.
The campaign ran from Sept. 23 to 29 across Southwestern Ontario.
During that time, Lambton OPP said it laid one stunt driving charge, 19 speeding violations and 14 charges to modify vehicles.
“Our focus remains on ensuring the safety of all road users and addressing any unsafe driving behaviors,” Const. Jeanine Robertson said by email. “Traffic safety is everyone’s responsibility.”
Across the OPP West Region, 750 charges were laid during the campaign. Officers stopped a total of 1,967 vehicles, including 26 for stunt driving.
There were 86 charges laid in the region for modified vehicles and 597 for speeding offenses.
“Together, through the Drive Smart, Keep it Safe traffic safety campaign, we’ve reinforced the fact that safe driving is not just a suggestion, but a responsibility we all share,” OPP West Region Insp. Mike McConnell said in a release.
