Oskari Luoto strengthens KooKoo’s attack in the SM league.
KooKoo, who plays in the ice hockey league, completes its crew with a winger Oskari Luodolla. 22-year-old Luoto has played in the beginning of the season in last season’s Finnish champion Tappara.
Luoto already played two matches in KooKoo last season on loan from Tappara. He scored two goals for the Kouvola team in the SaiPa matches.
Luoto was raised by Lempäälä Kisan, but he has grown into an adult player in Tappara’s juniors. In the domestic SM league, Luoto will debut in Tappara in the 2021–22 season.
Luoto scored a whopping 54 points in 32 games in the under-20 league in the 2022-23 season, but a real breakthrough at the adult level is still waiting for him. This season, Luoto had time to play five matches in Tappara without scoring.
