A 16-year-old boy with psychiatric disorders fainted in the wilderness. The young man is actively sought this Thursday, October 3, because he is suspected of having attacked his family, in particular his mother and his little brother, with a knife before fleeing. The attack occurred Wednesday morning in the family apartment located in La Celle-Saint-Cloud, in Yvelines, reports The Parisian.
The mother, who lives with her two children on the first floor of a building, found refuge with a neighbor on the third floor. While the youngest child, aged just 2, was found on the ground in the stairwell between the first floor and the ground floor, lying on his stomach and crying. It was the neighbors who raised the alarm. The eldest of the siblings was no longer there.
The 16-year-old boy is considered the main suspect. According to the first elements of the investigation carried out by the territorial criminal directorate of Yvelines, the two victims were affected by stab wounds while the mother was holding the young child in her arms. The suspected teenager then took the child with him before dropping him to the ground on the stairs.
The suspect still wanted
The fleeing suspect is described by The Parisian as an adolescent suffering from bipolarity and schizophrenia but under psychiatric care. The events and the attack could have occurred during a crisis of the young man. He has been wanted since Wednesday. The apartment where the events took place is only a hundred meters from the forest of Marly-le-Roi, but no indication of the suspect’s escape is given. It is not said whether the suspect is armed or not, but according to The Parisian, the knife with which the victims were attacked was not found on site.
The two victims were treated at the André-Mignot hospital center in Versailles. The child has two superficial wounds on the side and shoulder blade.
