Three Swedes have been arrested on suspicion of the explosion at the embassy in Copenhagen during the night of Wednesday. And in Stockholm, a large police operation took place on Tuesday evening after a shooting at the embassy.
– Swedish and Danish have further deepened the collaboration, says Gunnar Strömmer at the press conference.
This is done, among other things, by the fact that Danish police are on the ground in Sweden and Swedish police have been sent to Denmark.
Security at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm has been increased during the year. In January, a live hand grenade was found at the embassy and in May, armed teenage boys were arrested, suspected of having planned an attack on the embassy. A 15-year-old was then convicted of serious weapons offences.
In addition to that, the police have stopped further planned crimes during the year.
