With the new MMORPG Throne and Liberty (PC, PS5, Xbox), many Germans were looking forward to really starting the MMORPG today on the holiday, October 3rd. But all servers are down for maintenance because the first update is coming. But probably not for the Xbox yet.
What is the server status for Throne and Liberty? As of 9:30 a.m. this morning, all Throne and Liberty servers are down. It says on Twitter that downtime begins at 12:30 AM PT – that’s 9:30 a.m. our time.
Server maintenance work is pending due to an update. The now 47 European servers are also down; Amazon has already added a few here after a large rush at the start.
The plan is for the servers to go back online around 3:30 p.m. German time.

What does the patch bring? Update 1.1.0 is coming – it fixes bugs in the user interface and optimizes a few things to make it easier to get started with Throne and Liberty.

Some bugs in the guild search have been fixed. On the PS5, some sentences that have not yet been translated will be subsequently localized.
What’s going on with Xbox and PS5? Yes, that’s a bit strange. There are some specific changes for the Xbox in particular, such as the graphics in the world map should now always have a high resolution. However, the patch for Xbox isn’t coming yet, it will probably take some time.

In any case, it seems very stupid, especially for German players, that the servers of a new MMORPG are down for 6 hours on the holiday of October 3rd, which will mess up many people’s plans to start the game.
