ART signs a protocol agreement with the French Transport Authority

(Finance) – The Italian and French transport authorities strengthen their ties with the signature of a memorandum of understanding to address issues of common interest.

During a meeting between the two presidents, Nicola Zaccheo and Thierry Guimbaudheld in Rome yesterday, 2 October 2024, the two Authorities committed to the exchange of information on topics of common interest, in particular the mutual consultation on regulation of the transport sector to identify improvement paths and good practices.

Issues of common interest covered by the MoU include the tasks, organization and functioning of the authorities; The monitoring of regulated markets; the discipline of motorway concessions; the regulation of airport chargespursuant to Directive 2009/12/EC; the regulation of the food market rail transportpursuant to Directive 2012/34/EU; the regulation of multimodal digital information services; temporary and structural measures adopted in France and Italy during times of crisis.
