    The 26-year-old medical student and his girlfriend were admitted with suspected Marburg virus in Hamburg, Germany.

  • Man dies in workplace accident

    On Thursday morning, a workplace accident occurred in Österåker.

    It happened on a construction site and the police were called to the scene at 08:00.

    According to information to Aftonbladet, a man must have fallen from a great height and been seriously injured.

    – The state of the damage is unclear, we don’t want to go into details yet. We have patrols still at the scene. The investigation must show exactly what happened. We will investigate this incident further, said Helena Boström Thomas, the police spokesperson initially.

    Emergency services and an ambulance should also have been on the scene.

    At 11.15 the police announced that the man had died.

    Relatives have been notified.

  • AKB substitute appointed

    Claes Lindgren takes over as acting governor after Anna Kinberg Batra, according to SvD.

    Lindgren is currently acting county director at the county board in Stockholm. According to Minister of Civil Affairs Erik Slottner (KD), the government is working quickly to appoint a new regular governor.

    The crackdown took place on Thursday morning in eastern Naples and involved 350 police officers, reports Italian TGLA7.

    Those arrested are suspected of crimes such as mafia organization, extortion, drug trafficking, attempted murder and possession of weapons.

  • Fire in barn – animals left in the building

    There is currently a fire in several agricultural buildings north of Karlskoga, the rescue service writes X.

    There are no reports of anyone being injured, but several forces are on site and are working to prevent the spread to other buildings.
