Resident on the Iranian attack: “The whole house damaged”

Iran failed to inflict any major damage on Israel during Tuesday night’s robot attack, according to Israel themselves.
At the same time, it has been announced that air bases have been damaged, and TV4 Nyheterna has visited an area of Tel Aviv that was damaged in the attack.
– The whole house shook. It was very scary and lasted a very long time, says Hagit, who lives in the area.

On Tuesday evening, Iran fired about 200 missiles at Israel. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has described the attack as revenge for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and one of the Revolutionary Guard commanders.

At first, Israel played down the effects of the attack. They claimed, among other things, that they had not suffered any major losses, neither military nor humanitarian.

During Wednesday morning, however, the Israeli military came out with the fact that the robots, among other things, damaged air bases, and in a suburb of Tel Aviv that TV4 Nyheterna visited, whole neighborhoods were affected.

“Different and dramatic”

– The bomb was detected by the damage to the whole house. It was very scary and lasted a very long time, says Hagit, who lives in the area.

The attacks are different from those she has experienced before from Gaza or Lebanon.

– This was very different and dramatic.

This is the second time Iran has carried out a direct attack on Israel. In April, Iran fired hundreds of drones and robots at Israel. The attack in April was described as more symbolic, and Iran issued clear warnings. This time the attack came suddenly.

– We were in the shelter in the basement. It was absolutely incredible, a very loud bang. My wife became hysterical, says Michael Pardo, resident of Tel Aviv.

“We should be victorious”

Many are now asking whether Israel, which is already involved in battles in Gaza and Lebanon, can handle another war front. Moreover, Iran is a far stronger enemy than Hamas and Hezbollah.

Moshe Fuzailov is a strategic analyst and former intelligence officer. He doesn’t think Israel will back down.

– It is human behavior to like winners, and we should become winners. If we are victorious again, everyone will love us.

Moshe Hertz lives in the area of Tel Aviv that was affected in the attack. He also does not believe that Israel will rest on its laurels.

– We will attack them, and they will not be happy.
