The scene in which Tuco is surprised in the bathroom by an old enemy who wants to take revenge on him ultimately became legendary. Wallach then unexpectedly said this sentence on set, which reads in the German dubbed version: “If you want to shoot, you should shoot and not talk.”
Everyone had to laugh so hard during filming that the actor’s serious statement became an unintentionally entertaining cult.
