Carlos Alcaraz beat Jannik Sinner in ATP finals Sports

Two superstars of the tennis world met in Beijing. Carlos Alcaraz once again proved to be a tough opponent for Jannik Sinner.

Number one in the world tennis rankings Jannik Sinner defeated Spain in the ATP finals in Beijing For Carlos Alcaraz.

In the Beijing ATP final, Alcaraz won Sinner’s set 6–7 (6–8), 6–4, 7–6 (7–3). Alcaraz is ranked 3rd in the world.

Sinner won the first three balls in the decisive tie-break, but four-time grand slam winner Alcaraz did not give up. After that, the Spaniard won seven consecutive balls and thus also the entire match. The meeting between the tennis stars lasted more than three hours.

– I had my chances in the first set, but I didn’t succeed. I wasted three service balls. However, I’m proud of the way I played and got through it all, Alcaraz stated after the match.

The Italian Sinner has lost only six matches this season. Three of the losses have come against Alcaraz.
