Victor Lindgren won the hearts of the Swedish people and took Olympic silver this summer.
Now the shooter has won two more medals – silver and bronze in the JVM.
The 21-year-old from Sjöbo competed in the Junior WC in Lima, Peru. There was a silver medal in the class 50 m rifle 3×20 for Victor Lindgren.
Success for Lindgren
The gold went to the American Braden Peiser – with only one decimal place in the margin of victory.
“Today’s competition was a day where you had to work with exactly everything you had. After a good basic match with good work and a lot of wind, it was just a matter of taking everything into the final and trying to enjoy it,” says Lindgren in a press release.
He continues:
“The final was good, I had a pulse that could be controlled and shot good shots that bit well on the board. It was just generally nice to shoot this final – and then getting paid with a medal is just a plus,” he says.
