Homeless people in Utrecht have been selling newspapers for 30

People pay for a newspaper for 2.79 euros from one of the 30 regular Utrecht vendors. At one time there were 200 to 300 salespeople. But in 2024, far fewer homeless people want to sell a newspaper. This is not because there are fewer homeless people, but because it concerns a different group of people, explains Milco Linssen, director of the foundation.
