An important aspect of the transfer market in FC 25 is that it only trades with coins that you have earned in the game. The real money currency “FC Points” cannot be used to purchase items on the transfer market.

The main goal when trading in FC 25 is to purchase items cheaply and then sell them for a profit. By trading wisely on the transfer market you can accumulate more coins.

These coins can then be used to specifically improve your own team – without using real money.

Because you should always keep this in mind in Ultimate Team: Buying packs is usually not worth it.

You have to keep this in mind when trading: The transfer market in EA FC 25 is dynamic and constantly changing. A player who just cost 50,000 coins can suddenly be worth half as much the next day – or twice as much.

Prices can fluctuate extremely and what works once may not work exactly the same the next time.

It is important to monitor the transfer market closely and then decide whether a trading method can work. Here you will find some tips and methods that you can try out.

Factor in the “transfer fee” when trading

What kind of fee is that? The transfer fee, often called “EA tax”, always deducts 5% from every sales price you achieve on the transfer market. This rule applies to all transactions on the market.

Assuming you sell a player for 10,000 coins, you will only be credited with 9,500 coins.

It becomes problematic if you buy a player ten times for 9,700 coins and then sell him ten times for 10,000 coins. Instead of making a profit of 3,000 coins, you suffer a loss of 2,000 coins.

That’s why you should always take the 5% transfer fee into account before deciding how much to buy players for that you want to sell later.

Use the right time for meta players

What needs to be taken into account? EA FC 25 has just launched and many player cards are steadily increasing in value.

This is partly because new players are only now getting the coins they need to pay high prices on the transfer market. That’s why meta players are on the rise right now, shortly after the FC 25 release.

It is conceivable that many cards will continue to increase at least until the first Weekend League – because then good players want to put together powerful teams. Investing in such players now can be worthwhile.

Outside the “start phase”, Thursday morning has established itself as a phase in which you can have the chance to get cheap tickets. Because that’s where many players collect their Division Rivals rewards. They are then sold quickly and cheaply – you can grab them.

During the course of the day, towards Friday, cards can increase again when players start working on their Weekend League teams. If you have bought interesting cards here, you have a chance of winning.

Pay attention to which evolutions are currently popular

A strong new feature was introduced in EA FC 24 with the Evolutions, which also made it into FC 25. Evolutions allow you to improve your cards by completing certain tasks. But the feature can also be used to earn a few coins.

This is to be noted: New evolutions with new conditions appear regularly in Ultimate Team. If you notice this, you should be quick. It’s best to take a look at futbin and check there which cards are particularly popular for the respective evolutions. You can see that right there on the homepage.

You should then look for these cheaply on the transfer market and then sell them at a higher price. This is best when the new evolution becomes more popular and more players want to use these cards.

Don’t just look at the players – especially at the start of EA FC 25

Which items are worth it? When you want to earn coins on the transfer market, you often first think of players who can be sold for a lot of coins at once.

But it’s also worth keeping an eye on Cosmetics, Chemistry Styles and Trainer Cards. These items are often overlooked as “pack fillers,” especially when they come from Division Rivals rewards, and can be easily monetized.

Especially at the beginning of FC 25, when players are still working on their teams, choosing jerseys for their favorite clubs or looking for a strong coach, such items can achieve surprisingly high coin winnings!

    Bronze Pack Method – BPM

What is the Bronze Pack Method? The “BPM” (Bronze Pack Method) is one of the classic trading strategies in FUT. The method is based on buying a Premium Bronze Pack from the FUT Shop for 750 coins and then selling all the items it contains.

The basic idea: The items in the pack are usually worth more than the pack itself – even if the profit is often only small.

So you buy the Premium Bronze Pack and put the entire contents on the transfer list. It’s important to check the value of each individual player, as some bronze cards can be worth a surprising amount, especially because of SBCs or special tasks.

Sometimes you can sell a player for over 1,000 coins and immediately make a tidy profit. So be careful not to offer your tickets too cheaply.

This method usually only generates small amounts and requires patience, but is considered relatively risk-free and is particularly popular when launching a new FC title.

However, be careful not to overload your transfer list with cards that simply won’t sell. If a card doesn’t sell for even 200 coins, it’s advisable to remove it from the list.

This technique usually doesn’t work with gold and silver packs because the pack prices are often higher than the potential yield. The chance of drawing a really valuable player is quite low with these packs.

Pay attention to SBCs and tasks

What makes these elements important? In Ultimate Team it can be worthwhile to keep cards in stock and not sell them immediately, but wait for the right moment. This is where SBCs and tasks come into play.

Players often specifically look for cards with specific requirements in order to complete SBCs or tasks.

For example, some SBCs require TOTW cards. If you have some that aren’t currently fetching a good price, it might be worth holding on to them until a time is right.

It can also happen that a large number of second division players or players from rare nations are suddenly needed for a certain set of tasks. Cards that are normally worth little can suddenly increase in value.

That’s why it’s worth constantly monitoring the market and selling your cards at the right moment.

Uses portals like futbin to track prices

What is the use of futbin? On futbin you can closely follow current player prices, also to identify trends. For example, players on the “Popular” main page currently fall into the category of players from the last tip.

Such sites provide significantly more information about current prices than searching the transfer market itself.

In addition to these methods, there are plenty of other tactics that can bring in coins on the transfer market. Which do you use for trading? Do you have any further tips?
