President of the United States Joe Biden will travel to North Carolina, ravaged by Hurricane Helene, on Wednesday. Biden told reporters on Monday at the White House.
The hurricane weakened to a storm and its effects have killed at least a hundred people in a six-state area. Most of the fatalities are from North Carolina, where nearly 40 people have died.
The hurricane that made landfall in Florida on Thursday evening local time left significant damage in the southeastern United States.
