Two men in their 20s were seriously injured in a shooting in Sundbyberg on Sunday evening. The two men are now being treated in hospital.

– They are not life-threateningly injured, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl during the morning.

The shooting took place on Rissne square.

– We suspect that there are links to serious organized crime, says Daniel Wikdahl, police spokesperson.

The police cordoned off the area and checked people and vehicles.

– There were several people who had to come with us in connection with being checked, says Daniel Wikdahl.

The police are investigating suspected attempted murder and serious weapons offences.

The alarm came in at 10:16 p.m.
