Dejan Kulusevski’s wild joy after the great Swedish success

Dejan Kulusevski has opened his goal account for the season.
The Swede scored the 2-0 goal as his Tottenham beat Manchester United 3-0.
– This is life, says Kulusevski to Viaplay.

It was a difficult evening for Manchester United at home at Old Trafford against Tottenham. In a 1–0 deficit, he became the team captain Bruno Fernandes expelled, having unluckily slipped and thus entered into a duel with James Maddison a bit brusque.

– It is a clear free kick, but never a red card. That is my opinion. Even Maddison told me as soon as he came up. He immediately said it’s a free kick, but not a red card. Everyone can see that it is not red, says Fernandes about the situation.

Bergvall directed the corner goal

1–0, and one man less at half-time. It looked dark even then, and it didn’t get any brighter after Sweden Dejan Kulusevski scored his first goal of the season almost immediately in the second half.

The Swede was able to jump up and angle in after a switch Brennan Johnson’s pass to make it 2-0 in an elegant way. Johnson was also the one who gave “Spurs” the lead already in the third minute.

And the nice Swedish evening would not end there. In the 77th match minute was changed Lucas Bergvall in, and his first task was to take the corner that made it 3–0 to Tottenham, which was the final score.

“That’s why you play football”

– This feeling you have now, that is the one you want. That’s why you play football. It was overtaking, we showed how good we are, says Dejan Kulusevski to Viaplay.

The loss was Manchester United’s third in the league this season. The team is in twelfth place in the table after six games played. For Tottenham, the victory means a jump up the table, to eighth place.

– We have four straight (wins) now, and this is when our season really starts, says Kulusevski.

What a display from Dejan Kulusevski and his Spurs. It’s also nice that Lucas Bergvall got to participate in a corner.
