Autumn is here and the trees are filled with colorful leaves. At the same time, it starts to get dark in the evenings and inside the houses many people light a candle or two.
But autumn doesn’t just come with lovely colors and coziness when darkness sets in. It also comes with rain and debris and so even now.
The first snow has fallen here
News24 have previously reported that the first snow has fallen in the mountains. But the meterologist Linnea Rehn Wittskog from SMHI, points out that it is nothing strange.
– Historically, the first snow usually falls, then below northern Sweden, around October. In the southern parts of the country, we probably have to wait until November, December before the snow can settle on the slopes, she tells Nyheter24.

That’s how long the sunny weather will last
The weekend has been bordered by lovely and crisp weather. This is because there is a high pressure over the country and the temperatures have been as cold as three degrees in the north and fourteen degrees in the south, reports The Express.
– You have known that autumn is here with autumn temperatures. You feel that it’s a little crunchy and lovely to put on a scarf and be out in the sun, says Stormegeo meteorologist Pall August Thorarinsson to the newspaper.
The lovely autumn weather will remain for a few more days, with the exception of minor rain in Dalsland and Bohuslän.
– Take the opportunity to enjoy the hours you have, the sun will disappear quickly, he says.

Then comes the fall rust
But towards Tuesday and Wednesday the weather changes and will be dominated by cloudy and partly clear weather.
Until the weekend, a low pressure with rain and debris will move in over the country, reports the newspaper.
