Ultimate Team in EA FC 25 finally has a long-awaited feature that will save you a lot of time. On MeinMMO we explain to you how the new SBC storage works and how you can use the innovation to your advantage.
What is SBC storage? This is a separate storage space for your duplicate players in Ultimate Team. This applies to all exchangeable and non-exchangeable duplicates.
These can now be saved on a separate list that can accommodate up to 100 players. You will mostly have to deal with the SBC storage when you open packs, as there is a chance that you will receive untradeable duplicates.
The following example image shows a possible scenario after opening a professional pack:
For the exchangeable duplicates, you can still choose whether you want to add them to the transfer list (upwards) or get rid of them with “Quick Sell Now” (downwards) for their selling price (see image).
Here’s how SBC irreplaceable duplicate storage works: The remaining non-exchangeable duplicates are automatically added to the SBC memory with one click on R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox). This means that, as in FC 24, you don’t have to personally take care of your duplicates in order to continue drawing packs. The SBC memory now does this task for you.
You can proceed directly to opening additional packs. Or you can reuse your duplicates profitably in Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

Use duplicates from SBC storage for upgrade packs
Although the SBC storage is primarily intended for storing duplicates, the feature actually serves its purpose when it is used in squad building challenges.
You can use weaker, untradeable duplicates for upgrade packs and stronger duplicates for player SBCs so that they don’t get unnecessarily forgotten in your storage.
This is how you use the SBC storage for upgrade packs or players: All you have to do is select the SBC you want and go to the team building menu. At the top of the screen you can choose between transfer market, team, club and SBC storage from left to right.
If you are in the team building menu, you can access the SBC storage by pressing R1 twice (PlayStation) or RB twice (Xbox). Once in the SBC memory, your non-exchangeable duplicates appear sorted in descending order by rating.
Now you can freely choose the players you want to trade to complete the SBC.
What are the advantages of SBC storage? Until FC 24 you still had to look into which SBC you could quickly get rid of your duplicates with high ratings in order not to suffer a financial loss, you no longer feel this pressure with the SBC storage. The memory gives you enough time with a capacity of 100 players.
The fact that SBC storage can be activated with just the push of a button after opening packs makes it an easy-to-use and useful feature. In addition, with the SBC storage selection option in the team building menu, you can find duplicate players within a few seconds who no longer offer you and your club any added value anyway.
