Several leaders of far-right parties around Europe are now congratulating the FPÖ party on the win in the Austrian election.
The leader of the right-wing populist Rassemblement National in France and the leader of the right-wing “patriots” in the European Parliament, Jordan Bardella, writes on X:
“…We are proud to sit in the European Parliament together with our allies in the FPÖ, who are clearly ahead in the parliamentary elections in Austria tonight!”
Even Geert Wilders from the nationalist party for freedom (PVV) in the Netherlands has congratulated the win on X. “We are winning, times are changing” he writes, among other things.
The EU parliamentarian Gerof Annemans from the right-wing party Vlaams Belang in Belgium did the same.
The leader of the German far-right AfD, Alice Weidel, also writes on X:

“Snuten i Hollywood” star John Ashton is dead, American media write.
He played the police officer John Taggart in the famous film series.
Ashton was 76 years old.

The police were called to a grocery store in Linköping during the afternoon after a man was seen picking up goods, writes Corren.
Once there, the man in question tried to leave the place. The police chased after him and got control of the person with the help of a stun gun.
The person, who is 45 years old and is well known to the police from before, was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A person under the age of 18 is arrested on probable cause on suspicion of preparation for murder and aggravated weapons crime in Stockholm.

Despite Israel carrying out extensive attacks on Lebanon, the country’s war in Gaza continues. According to Palestinian officials, at least four people have been killed in the strip in Israeli attacks.
Two were killed in separate attacks early Sunday in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, the nearby Awda Hospital said. A further six people are reported to have been injured.

Several earthquakes have occurred in Malmberget in Gällivare municipality over the weekend.
Last Saturday, four major seismic events were registered and on Sunday morning another quake occurred.

The tremors are due to subsidence in the mine. After the seismic events, some areas of the mine have been closed. When they can be opened again is unclear..

“Our Best Years” star Drake Hogestyn is dead, CNN reports.
He is best known for playing the role of John Black in the popular soap opera.
The actor died after a long battle with cancer. This is stated by his family in a statement.
Hogestyn was 70 years old.

Two cars are involved in an accident on the E6 between Holm and Getinge north of Halmstad.
Two drivers are said to have collided with each other.
– One drives into the center rail, the other drives off the road and turns down towards a train track that is next door, says Thomas Fuxborg of the police in Väst.
There are no known injuries and no one has had to be taken to hospital.
For a short while there was a traffic stop for train traffic. But the car is a couple of meters from the track, so now the trains can run as usual.
One lane is open and cars can pass at a reduced speed.
The United States has carried out two attacks in northwestern Syria, AP reports.
37 militants from IS and al-Qaeda are said to have been killed in the attack. They were said to be responsible for military operations.
