A new wave of Israeli attacks has begun against Lebanon – despite the death of Hassan Nasrallah.
On Sunday, the Hezbollah leader’s body was recovered from the scene, according to sources.
On Sunday afternoon, a powerful explosion was again heard in Danieh, the suburb of the capital Beirut where Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was killed earlier this week in a massive and “precisely targeted” Israeli attack, AFP correspondents on the scene report.
According to the two sources cited by Reuters, the body was intact and without visible injuries.

Israel confirms that new attacks have been launched against Dahieh – Hezbollah’s stronghold in the capital Beirut, the BBC reports.
The information comes from the Israeli Defense Forces.
AFP correspondents testify to loud explosions and rising smoke from the area of the city.
Hezbollah confirmed that another high-ranking commander, Ali Karaki, died in Israel’s attacks, AP reports.
He died in Friday’s attack in Beirut that also killed top commander Hassan Nasrallah, according to Hezbollah.
The militia states that Karaki was in charge of all Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s news agency, NNA, says at least 17 family members were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Zboud in the Bekaa Valley, reports Al Jazeera.
A search operation for survivors has been launched.
During Sunday morning, the Israeli military IDF says that Nabil Kaouk, a high-ranking Hezbollah member has been killed, AP reports.
Hezbollah has not yet confirmed his death.
