On Saturday, the space company SpaceX has launched a rescue operation for Nasa astronauts stuck on the International Space Station for months By Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to return home.

SpaceX’s spacecraft started its journey towards the International Space Station today with an undermanned crew. However, the ship will not return to Earth until February, when the astronauts’ assignment to the space station ends.

Wilmore and Williams participated in the first manned flight of a Boeing-made spacecraft in June. The duo’s ship returned to Earth without its crew earlier in September due to safety concerns.
