Danes who want to travel to China will in future not need to apply for a visa.
That is the content of a meeting between Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and his Chinese colleague Wang Yi in New York on Thursday.
“The visa-free policy is expected to strengthen tourism and promote greater exchanges between the two countries,” says a statement on the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website.
It is still unclear when the agreement on visa freedom will enter into force.
