Dick Axelsson’s harsh behavior against Per Ledin after reporting

Two rounds have passed of the hockey Allsvenskan and Djurgården’s Dick Axelsson has already been fined by the disciplinary committee.
Now he rages against an old antagonist.
– Per Ledin has a grudge. He’s probably bored up there and the disciplinary committee has to work, he tells Hockeynews.

The icon Dick Axelsson, 37, is back in the hockey Allsvenskan against all odds. After a break of 901 days, he was back in the Djurgård jersey in time for the premiere against Oskarshamn – a match which the Stockholmers won 5-4 on penalties. Axelsson was responsible for one of the goals.

Goes against the decision

In the home opener against Karlskoga, it was slower for both Dick Axelsson and for the team as a whole. The forward drew a report from the Players Safety Group for wearing the neck protector the wrong way. He absolutely did not agree with that.

– It is fascinating. I had a lot of pictures sent to me. During the first two periods, the neck protection fits exemplary. I haven’t done anything. Haven’t taken off my shirt or neck protection or anything, says Dick Axelsson to Hockeynews.

One of the members of the Players Safety Group, which is responsible for the safety of the players on the ice, is the former SHL star Per Ledin. He and Axelsson have bumped into each other over the years. Now the animal keeper sends a proper pass to his former rival. He is not gracious with the criticism.

There will be no Christmas presents for Dick

Just over 7,800 spectators saw the match at Hovet, so it was almost full. Dick Axelsson believes that it was extremely hot inside the arena, which may have affected how the protection was at the end of the match. Even his teammates David Blomgren was reported for the same reason. Usually, a rule violation of that nature results in SEK 5,000.

– Boring. Money that should have gone to Christmas presents. There won’t be any, says a butter Axelsson.

It was words and no rhymes from good Dick. He’s been there before, so he knows how it works.
