The Swedish school on the Spanish sun coast has been forced to close after threats.

In a post on social media, there is talk of a school shooting, according to information to Svenska Magasinet.

– We have received very little information from the school, says a parent who has children at the school to Aftonbladet.

On Wednesday evening, relatives with children at the Swedish school Costa del Sol in Fuengirola, a few miles outside Marbella, were notified that the school would be closed on Thursday.

The reason was that they received a threat.

– But we have not received any more information than that. The school has not said anything about what to do or think about. It’s really bad, says a parent who wants to remain anonymous.

Police ordered the school to close

The management’s decision was made at the request of the police. According to the newspaper The Swedish Magazine a post has been published on social media where there was talk of a “school shooting on Thursday”.

But whether the children will go to school on Friday is still unclear.

– If it were to be true, it does not feel good that they are going back tomorrow. But the school hasn’t said anything about it yet, says the parent.

Aftonbladet is looking for management at the Swedish School Costa del Sol.

In December last year, bomb threats were directed at 18 international schools in Spain, the newspaper writes. On that occasion, relatives of Swedish children were told to pick up their children at the Sunny View school, about a mile outside Marbella.
