The Israeli army began massive airstrikes against the extremist organization Hezbollah on Monday in Lebanon. So far, Israel says it has struck more than 2,000 Hezbollah targets in the past three days.

According to the spokesperson of the Israeli army, Israel carried out hundreds of attacks on the organization’s targets on Wednesday alone.

On Wednesday, Israel’s military leader Herzi Halevi also admitted that the country’s forces were preparing for a possible ground attack. The Israeli army says it has called additional reserve brigades to the Lebanese border.
