Patrik Hofbauer55, has not been on the lazy side.
Today he is president and CEO of one of Sweden’s largest telecom companies, namely Telia. Hofbauer assumed that role in February 2024.

Before that, he was from 2018 president and CEO of Svenska Spel AB.
Between the years 2014 and 2018, he was CEO of Telenor Sweden AB, and before that had been CEO of Telenor Broadcasting Holding.
Svenska spel is, as you know, a state-owned gaming company and the largest gaming company on the Swedish market. Svenska spel has existed since 1897, but only became state-owned in 1939.

Hofbauer has been living on Kungsholmen in Stockholm since 2020. There he lives in a condominium of 172 square meters, according to information from Ratsit.
There are two vehicles registered in his name: A 2018 Audi Q3 and a 2024 Porsche Taycan 4S.
He is a board member of Clas Ohlson Aktiebolag and, as previously mentioned, currently external CEO of Telia Company AB.

News24 has previously reported on his salary for the year 2020. At that time, Hofbauer had an annual salary of SEK 5,611,000, which gives a monthly salary of SEK 468,000.
Since then, Svenska spel’s profit after financial net has increased, which may be the reason why Hofbauer’s salary was raised. In 2020, the result after financial items was SEK 2,468,000.
In 2023, the same figure was SEK 2,451,000, according to figures from All companies.

Nyheter24 has contacted the Tax Agency to find out Hofbauer’s salary as CEO of Svenska spel in 2023.
During 2023, he had a fixed earned income, i.e. an annual salary of SEK 6,987,300.

Evenly distributed over the twelve months of the year, this gives a monthly salary of SEK 582,275.
During 2023, he also had a deficit of capital of SEK 99,839.
