A new class of students experienced the Star Academy adventure from November 4, 2023 to February 3, 2024. Find all the information on the TF1 competition.
Star Academy returned to TF1 between November 4, 2023 and February 3, 2024, for season 2 of the new version of the competition. At the end of the suspense, Pierre Garnier, the huge favorite of this 2023-2024 season, was crowned the big winner of this new edition of the talent show, with Julien bowing out as an honorable finalist.
For almost 4 months, viewers were able to follow the daily lives of 13 candidates every evening at 5:30 p.m. on TF1, before discovering the names of those eliminated each week during the prime time, on Saturdays at 9:10 p.m., still on the first channel.
At the launch of this new 2023 season, there were indeed 13 students trying the Star Academy adventure. This new promotion revealed new talents aged 18 to 25. Each one distinguished themselves with their sensibilities and touching stories: this is the case of Hélèna, a young Belgian girl who was bullied during childhood, or Lénie, who had just lost her stepfather. Julien, for his part, overcame his stutter thanks to music.
Star Academy stands out from other current television programs by its format, mixing weekly primes and daily reality TV confinement. The prime, at the end of which a candidate is eliminated, is broadcast on Saturday evenings on TF1. The “daily”, which allows to follow the last 24 hours of the candidates (between their classes, rehearsals and their daily and romantic life), is broadcast in 2023-2024 seven days a week, at 5:30 p.m. on the first channel.
Teachers are part of the identity of the Star Academy castle. For the 2023-2024 season, Malika Benjelloun officiated as dance teacher replacing Yanis Marshall, and Cécile Chaduteau was appointed as stage expression teacher in place of Laure Balon.
The rest of the teaching staff that we have known since 2022 was still present: Joël Bouraïma (sports teacher and head teacher), Adeline Toniutti (singing teacher) and Pierre de Brauer (drama teacher) are back. Michaël Goldman, creator of the My Major Compagny label and son of Jean-Jacques Goldman, has resumed his role as director of the château. Lucie Bernardoni of Star Ac’ 4 and Marlène Schaff are the tutors.
The 2023 season of Star Academy began with 13 candidates on November 4, 2023. Aged 18 to 25, they appeared in public for the first time. While most are still students, others have entered the workforce, like Victorien who is an oyster farmer. Many also stand out for their touching, sometimes difficult, personal stories.
At the end of the last Star Academy final broadcast on TF1 on Saturday, February 3, 2024, Pierre Garnier was crowned the big winner. After facing Julien in the final, he was finally chosen by the public to win the famous talent show this year. He therefore signed a contract to record an album with the record company Sony Music Entertainment France.

Nikos Aliagas is part of the DNA of Star Academy, having presented each season since the launch of the show on TF1. It was therefore logical that he would return to the role of host of the 2023 version of the talent show. The second part of the evening was, however, provided by Karima Charni, a candidate from Star Academy 4, who became a radio host. She was responsible for collecting the reactions of the candidates on the bus that took them back to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys after each prime, but also acted as the voice-over for the program.
