Earlier in the night, Lebanese security sources said Israel struck near the Lebanese capital Beirut early Wednesday. The target was said to have been some kind of warehouse located in Saadiyat, twenty kilometers south of Beirut.

The Israeli armed forces said on Wednesday morning that they had repelled a missile launched from Lebanon. The missile launch caused alarm at least in Tel Aviv and Netanya.
