At the moment, the city has around 535 electricity houses. Another four hundred will be added by 2035. A total of tens of kilometres of cables will be laid. It is a gigantic operation for grid operator Stedin and the municipality of Amersfoort. The stations are built neighbourhood by neighbourhood, to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.
