Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for “Thunderbolts,” which reunites the studio’s anti-heroes for an explosive new film. The film is set for release in 2025.
THE “Suicide Squad” Marvel’s “The Last Jedi” is finally here. After several postponements linked to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the film studios unveiled this Monday, September 23, the first trailer for Thunderbolts* (the asterisk is intentional and will be explained in the film according to Kevin Feige), his 36th feature film which will also be the last of phase five. In this new action movie which already promises to be explosive, spectators will be able to discover the strip created by screenwriter Kurt Busiek and designer Mark Bagley.
Continuation of Black Widow, Captain America Brave New World And Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Thunderbolts* stars Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and Sentry (Lewis Pullman).
Convicted and seeking to repent, they are brought together to form the “Thunderbolts”, tasked with carrying out missions for the American government. But when one of their missions obviously becomes a suicide mission, they rebel against their boss, Valentina de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who appeared in Black Widow). Harrison Fordwho plays Thaddeus Ross from Captain America Brave New World (released in 2025) is also part of it. In France, Thunderbolts* will be released directly in theaters on April 30, 2025.
