The Israeli army intensified its airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon this morning.
The army said in a statement that more than 300 “targets” had been hit in the south and east of Lebanon in airstrikes carried out since the morning hours.
In addition to the attacks, the Israeli army called on civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate and stay away from homes and buildings it claims belong to Hezbollah.
Smoke rose from many areas in southern and eastern Lebanon after two separate airstrikes began in the morning.
Due to the attacks, civilians, especially those residing in settlements close to the border in southern Lebanon, were forced to flee towards the north of the country.
Heavy traffic occurred on the roads leading north after the Lebanese who had to leave their homes left the area in their vehicles.
