The Walking Dead may be over, but the stories of individual fan favorites are far from over thanks to several spin-off sequels. Last year, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon began a new adventure in France for Norman Reedus’ survivalist Daryl, who will even make a detour to Spain in the future.
In just a few days, Daryl Dixon will be returning with the second season, which will now also send Melissa McBride to Europe as fan favorite Carol. But the reunion of the two The Walking Dead veterans is not the only highlight that fans can look forward to.
The Walking Dead brings back terrifying super zombies in Daryl Dixon Season 2
In the first season of The Walking Dead spin-off, Daryl Dixon was not only confronted with an environment, culture and language that was completely unfamiliar to him in France, but also with a zombie variant that we have never seen before in over 13 years of The Walking Dead: fast zombies!
With a mysterious serum, the otherwise lame and shuffling undead can be transformed into angry and raging super zombies. In the second season, villain Marion Genet (Anne Charrier) a whole horde of pimped-up biters on Daryl and the community of the Union of Hope, as was already revealed during filming.
A scurrying zombie army is by no means all that Season 2 of the Daryl series will boast. The escalating conflict in France will once again bring plenty of action, which you can see for yourself in the latest teaser trailer:

The new teaser also provides a first look at Carol’s arrival in FranceAlone and armed, she walks through the triumphal arch of the Grande Arche in Paris. When and how she will be reunited with her missing friend is not yet known. But one thing is certain: nothing will stop Carol from finding Daryl – not even an ocean.

In the USA, the new season will start on September 29, 2024 on AMC. German The Walking Dead fans don’t have to wait long. In this country, season 2 will start just a few hours later, on September 30, 2024 on Magenta TV go.
The second season of the Daryl series has the additional title The Book of Carol and consists of a total of six new episodes, which are available to stream every Monday on Magenta TV.
