(Finance) – The President of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiutohas released the projections of traffic at the airports of Lamezia, Reggio Calabria and Crotone based on the trend recorded in the first eight months of the year. The estimate indicates an overall growth, adding the data of the three Calabrian ports, equal to 8.5%with the transition from 3 million and 3,639,000 passengers.
According to the forecasts formulated by Occhiuto, the airport of Lamezia will see passenger traffic grow from November to December in the order of 5-6%but the most significant growth concerns Reggio Calabriawhere the number of passengers will go from 290 thousand in 2023 to 640 thousand at the end of this year, equivalent to +115%.Almost the 50% more is the expected annual final figure for Crotonfrom 226 thousand to just under 315 thousand passengers.
