A player of an anime RPG makes a shocking discovery in his mail, but the players celebrate it

A player of the anime RPG Honkai: Star Rail buys a figurine of a character from the game and finds it with its head broken off – the players find this amusing.

What was in the mail? Honkai: Star Rail is a gacha game in which players can use real money to do things like draw characters from a lottery. One of these characters is Tingyun. She is a vixen with brown hair and green eyes. A fan of the game ordered a figure of this character, but after unpacking it, it turned out that the figure was broken.

He then uploaded a video of it to the Internet and it gained a lot of attention. Because this is not just a broken character from the anime RPG. Tingyun’s head was broken off and this event overlaps with a scene from the game that is very well known among players.

Story-accurate figure of Tingyun

Why do the players celebrate the broken piece? Tingyun breaks his neck at one point in the story of Honkai: Star Rail. This shocked many fans.

The figure, whose head apparently broke off in the mail, suffered a similar fate to Tingyun in the story of the anime RPG. Some fans therefore joke that the figure was delivered true to the story.

  • Why is Tingyun’s story so popular? Some Honkai: Star Rail players love Tingyun because of her appearance. In Japanese mythology, foxes are considered creatures that enchant people – and so some players were enchanted by Tingyun’s smile. But her story also has many dark parts that make you want more.

The games from miHoYo are generally known for telling a fairly deep story in which players can lose themselves while exploring. Dreams, moral questions and angels – that’s why Penacony delivers the best story in Honkai: Star Rail so far.
