The first streamers are already playing the new EA FC 25. One of the best-known content creators for EA FC is really enjoying the new gameplay. One aspect in particular stands out to him as positive.
What kind of streamer is this? Simon Schildgen, alias GamerBrother, is one of the most successful streamers for EA FC in Germany and worldwide. For over 10 years he has been bringing new content every week in the form of streams or videos about EA Sports’ football simulations.
As a partner of EA, he was able to test the new part 2 days before the Early Access for FC 25. First, GamerBrother used the time to open the first packs and put together a starter team with new tactics.

He then played his first games in FC 25. In Division Rivals, a mode in Ultimate Team, he was able to familiarize himself with the new game mechanics against real opponents. And he really liked what he was able to see and test there.

GamerBrother praises the defense, especially a new foul
After a few matches, the content creator summed up his first impressions: “I haven’t had this much fun with the gameplay at release in years.”
What does GamerBrother like about the new gameplay? He particularly liked the defense. It felt “clean.” By that, he meant that the defensive actions had a clear outcome and there weren’t as many coincidences (impractical receptions, corrected passes) as in the previous parts.
As an example, he mentioned how well anticipation works. For example, if you stand in the opponent’s passing path, the success rate of winning the ball and knowing that it is in your own ranks is very high.
One of his live viewers also noticed this change. He wrote: “Defending is now more rewarding.” GamerBrother could only agree with this statement.
This made GamerBrother especially fun to defend: The streamer was delighted when he discovered the tactical foul, a new feature in FC 25.
If you use the tactical foul against your opponent and hit him, you are guaranteed to bring the opposing player down.
On the one hand, you can safely prevent dangerous attacks from your opponent. On the other hand, this foul is punished with at least a yellow card and should therefore be used sparingly if you do not want to risk a yellow-red card and thus a red card.

GamerBrother enjoyed it so much that he was forced to play with a man down shortly afterwards when he committed two such tactical fouls with the same player. But that didn’t dampen his joy, because by that point he had already won the game by several goals.
