One of Stockholm’s show restaurants is going to the grave.

Several famous artists have performed at the pub, such as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies Jr, Lena Philipson, Povel Ramel, Monica Zetterlund, Rod Stewart, Jerry Williams and Cornelis Vreeswijk.

Hamburger Börs closes down with immediate effect

It is Hamburger Börs, located next to Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm, that is closing down with immediate effect, reports Aftonbladet.

Hamburger Börs is located at a historic address in Stockholm, where restaurant operations have been run since the 18th century – under the name Hamburger Börs since at least 1811.

Bengtson also says that he had to cancel several shows that were planned for the fall, including the magician Julien Dauphin put on a big show with the cast Ollie Sarri.

For The evening paper tells the magician Dauphin that he thinks it’s strange.

– It feels really sad and my show had already sold 2,600 tickets two months before the premiere. It’s so fucking weird that they do this. So they have canceled the whole show so now we are looking at new premises in Stockholm.

“Börsen” as it has also been called, has been home to pub shows and concerts with Swedish and international artists.

According to the newspaper, the reason must be too high rents.
