Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia says that he was pressured to admit to running the country autocratically Nicolas Maduro election victory so that he could go into exile in Spain.

Gonzalez Urrutia told the messaging service X that he had to either sign a document acknowledging Maduro’s victory in the presidential election or face the consequences.
